Lay Ecclesial Ministry & Staff

To be certified in Lay Ecclesial Minsitry or as a Parish Staff you must attend and participate in each of the Day trainings listed, in each of the Seminars listed and also register for and complete the appropriate track on the Catechetical Institute with a mentor.  Before you receive certification you must have a letter of recommendation from your pastor, complete an interview with Diocesan staff, and complete a ministry project.  Also required is a retreat each year and spiritual direction.  Typically this certification will take three years.
